A National Study performed by the United Van Lines states that in 2015, South Carolina ranked second place, at 63%, for Inbound Movers. Oregon came in first place with a 69% inbound rate, and Vermont is right behind South Carolina with 62%. All three of these states share the same qualities in reasons for moving; which include family ties, retirement, and job availability.
In 2015, South Carolina's New Home Closings increased by 5.79% from 2014. This is a typical trait of the most popular inbound states over the years. While most of the High Inbound States median price range climbed as high as 11.59%, South Carolina's only increased by 5.32%. Could this help us into the First Place spot for 2016?
