The market is only getting hotter for Greenville Homes! Agents in the Greenville area have seen an increase of 544 year-to-date homes sold compared to last year! Although this is pretty incredible, we aren't stopping there! We expect to see more and more homes sold in the future months. Below is the 411 on what's going on in the Greater Greenville real estate market for April 2015.
In April 2015, there were 926 homes that sold. This is a 10.4% increase over the 839 homes that sold in April 2014. There was a YTD total of 96.8% of the original list price received compared to the 96% in April 2014, making 2015 a 0.8% increase from last year.
April 2015 alone had an average of 76 days on market compared to last year's 90 days, creating a 15.6% decrease! There was an average of 91 days on market for April 2014 YTD, which was trumped by an average of only 86 in 2015! That's a 5.5% decrease from last year!
April 2015 saw an average sale price of $198,731 while April 2014 was at $182,173. April 2015 also saw a YTD greater average sale price of $192,302 than last years average of $182,783. That's an incredible increase of 5.2%! Our list price to sale price ratio at PRODUCER Realty is at 97.97%. So there's a huge possibility that we can make the net cash received on your home much greater than other traditional real estate agents.
At the end of April, the inventory was 5,422 available homes for sale in the Greater Greenville market, which represents an 6.3 months supply of inventory.
