February 2014 Market Report

The Greater Greenville real estate market continues to improve. Home sales are up about 7.2% over the sales in February in 2013. Inventory level has increased slightly by 7.4% to 5,852 units. If you have recently been searching for a home, you have probably had some of your favorite Greater Greenville homes come on the market, and then go under contract within just days of the listing. February 2014 market statistics further prove this point.

In February 2014, there were 581 residential properties sold in the Greater Greenville real estate market. This is a 7.2% increase over the 542 homes that were sold in February 2013. The average sales price for the sold homes in February 2014 was $178,500 and the average number of days on market was 94 days.

At the end of February, the inventory was 5,852 available homes for sale in the Greater Greenville market, which represents a 7.8 months supply of inventory.
