Incorporated in 1852, Clinton SC is a historic town that used to be a railroad town, then transformed into a mill town, and then transformed into what it is today. It is currently the home of just over 8,600 residents and the history of the town be found at the Clinton Museum and the Musgrove Hill State Historic Site. This Laurens county town is the home of Presbyterian College and is just a short drive (45 minutes) southeast of Greenville.
