28 Year old Hot Air Balloon festival known as Freedom Weekend Aloft, returns to Heritage Park in Simpsonville South Carolina

This festival offers days filled with food, entertainment and concert performances by The Outlaws, Gavin DeGraw, Corey Smith, foghat and more, in the new Heritage Park Amphitheater. And, of course the hot-air balloons that float all around and over many Simpsonville area homes and area. 

According to organizers, Freedom Weekend Aloft which is usually a three day event filled with many activities, will been expanded to four days this year. It will be held this Memorial Day weekend from May 22nd to 25th. Bi-lo is said to be the sponsor for a whole day of this year's Freedom Weekend Aloft, and will offer free admission and concerts.

Special discount promotion of Two Adult tickets for $10, will be available until April 30th. Children 12 and under are admitted free, and a portion of the proceeds from this festival will be donated to Greenville Hospital System.
